Where do you think the girls skiing industry is going with people like Kristi Leskinen who dont necessarily want other girls to compete with?

i never really understood why girls were such a minority in this sport... it's not like there are any more physical limitations for girls. there's really no reason why chicks shouldn't rip as good as guys. and there's also no reason to seperate guys and girls for comps i think.

I'm just saying that you could have design and sizing to better fit a girl. We tend to be lighter weight, like shorter skis, and you don't seem to be able to find smaller sized twin tips. I mean, I have no problem with the skis they got out there, but it'd be nice to have that option. I could see like purple skis or something. But if they did it gay, like flowers and shit, I'd seriously have to puke.

most twins come in 3 sizes, so i dont think there is a need for a separate line of skis. most ski companies make skis for groms anyways (153 sizes etc) most girls i know, and myself included use 161-165, 171 at max.

yeah i like just regular skis....and kristi was just plain mean when i met her. she wanted nothing to do with us. but sarah burke was so freaking nice she was all excited and being like...come to camp it'll be so much fun...progression, progression!!!no thinking about it i just want separated competitions not lines of skis

chicks already have different models of non-twin tip skis, i dont see why there cant be one for twin tips. also, having a mud wrestling pit at the bottom of the comp would be key... to attract viewers. also, skiing needs cheerleaders.

you say kristi doesnt really want anyone else to compete against? weird. but all you have to do is look at sarah burke. the girl does everything possible to get more chicks out there. she just flew all the way out to tremblant to coach progression camp for FREE.. totally volunteering.. just to get more girls into the sport. i think with someone like that leading the way, girls freeskiing is in good hands.

First off, a twin tip for girls is a retarded idea. Women's skis are a total marketing ploy and have no value in reality. If you want a softer ski, go buy one. Theres no reason its got to be pink and purple and have flowers on it to work for girls. I demo'd a pair from the K2 axis women's series and they were sooooo weak...and this comes from the biggest freakin K2 groupie ever.

Secondly, Kristi is a bitch. I used to know her when she skied bumps back in Pennsylvania and she was a bitch then, at the ripe old age of 11. I havent talked to her in years, but from the looks of her at the USO, she was completely rude to the girls I saw and dick teasing the dudes gathered around her. Also, im very jelous that she skis better than me and gets paid to do it. bitch.

Thirdly? Core ski chicks rule.

dudes, it was a rare event, in the tremblant park, there were equal numbern of girl jibbers as guys. it was amazing. girls everywhere rippin it up, trying all the shit! and its not like there was no guys, but 35 girls! oh yeah

 
OMG...who said that about girls just having/being able to do easy jumps? That's so dumb. Do you really think that would be the only reason for a girl to be in the park, to impress some stupid guys? Try just wanting to have fun. Right now, there may not be as many good girl freeskiiers, but at least there are some, and more are trying to get better. So don't diss it because that's really not even funny.

Oh, and back to the ski line issue, I actually agree now that there shouldn't be a separate line, because yea, all it'd turn into is another way for ski companies to get more money.

Pink skis are pussified. Thats why nobody makes 'em and never will. For the record, the pink oakley's are gay, too.
