Gilson skis durability

How's the durability of Gilson skis? I need a new pair of skis looking for something that can handle well in and out of the park, but won't be beat after 1 season (west coast skier, not many parks near me) and I wanted to know what Newschoolers thinks of Gilson skis and how they are. and if you have any ideas of a better ski let me hear it.

My friend killed a pair after 42 days of hiking rails. Many of those rails were total ass though. He was also skiing on the ns reward ski from like 2019 or 2020 so that might not be the best point of reference.

sounds like you need oneps

everyone needs a pair of oneps

I’ve thought of getting some on3ps but there a little pricey, do you know if k2 poachers are really as good as everyone says they are?

I havent tried them. Ive heard good things about their durability, park vs groomer balance and many other things. As long as you do some research you should be fine.

I was going to get some for this season, but found good deals on ON3Ps in their factory finds instead. Id be paying 30% extra but the skis would last me way longer, and the construction of the magnus fit my skiing better.

Again, i havent tried the poachers but i think they have good balance with that 96mm underfoot. I would have got them.

Hope this helps!

One of my friends rides for them and his fusions held up well after taking quite a beating last year. He hits more rails than anyone I know and used them for urban and they still lasted. His bandits seemed to be in good shape too after the year
