as I said yesterday, the driver toe piece is adujable both in height and width, because of this you can get it to be so tight on any boot. You can also keep adjusting it as the soles of your boots wear out. Markers are by no means bad just from my experience you get more play in the bindings as there not as adjustable.

man, just use the search bar. I bet this topic is one of the 5 most common discussions- sth bindings vs griffons. Seems like there is a new thread every day about it.
Here is a copied post I made from one of those threads that clearly explains why drivers are much better bindings:

STH drivers are in a whole different league than griffons, but they are twice as much also. I have griffons on my jib skis, jesters on my park skis, and STH drivers on my skis where I could die if the binding fucks up. They both work well, but the STH is simply a better binding in every respect:
1. the STH 5 hole pattern on the heel is more robust
2. the STH heelpiece has legit lateral exit
3. the STH screw mounting width is substantially wider
4. the STH toepiece is so much better it's absurd. Adjustable toe height, adjustable wings, metal construction. Not to mention the weakest part of the griffon is the toepieces tendency to develop some play after a few seasons.
5. for all of those advantages the Drivers are less than a quarter pound heavier. That is like wearing a heavy pair of socks, it makes no difference.
And the price shows, my griffons and jesters have cost $125-175 and my STHs cost $190-300.
The griffons are really nice bindings. But they don't even come close to STH quality or reliability.
