wuddup apple heads, i forgot after searching for awhile on google, i could just come in here and ask.

so my dad said we could get a new computer, we're gettin the new imac that just came out. we're gonna get 2gb of ram instead of 1. only problem i see is that their cheapest one (the one were getting) is only 2.0 ghz. my crap computer now that sucks is 2.4 ghz. and my dad doesnt want to pay another 400 dollars for the next step up in imac.

im gettin a HDV video camera, which supposedly takes up a lot of space, w/e.

so my question i guess is, is 2.0 ghz much different then the 2.4 ghz in the next step up? is 2.0 ghz fine if i have 2gb of ram?

i take it your old crap computer is pre-intel days.

2.0Ghz in an intel mac is wwaaaaayyyy wwaayyy better than the 2.4 in a powerPC

correct me if im wrong anyone

yea i have a 1.25 GHz PowerPC for my eMac w/ 725mb of rama nd its faster themn any of the 3 GHz Dells' i have at school so you will be good
