Ghost or SPK pro?? HELP

I am trying on to decide if I should get the salomon ghost or the SPK Pro. I currently have the original SPK boot which I believe now is the kaos. They fit pretty good, but need a boot that is stiffer. I am 5ft 5in and weigh 125 pounds. I will be using these boots for all mountain and park on s4 pro and Gotama's. The problem with the ghost is that I am right in between sizes and a 25.5 is a little small and a 26.5 is a little big. I use my own footbeds so the half size is irrelevant. The SPK's 25.5 fit great but seem just a touch wide. Basically, I have a 300mm foot with a 101mm width. Price is on both is about the same believe it or not. I know they rate the spk pro at 110, but is it really that close to the ghost 130 because in person it does not seem like it.

I have tried on the ghost. I have not tried the spk pro but have the old spk which i believe to be the same mold. They both fit similar by going up a size in the ghost. I guess my main question is which flex will be better for me.

Well, if you are skiing mainly park go for the pro, more all moutain/powder go whit the gosht. But since you are 5'5 and 125lbs, the pro will be allright imo.

ur only 125lbs? the ghost is gunna be quite stiff for u, also the fit between the two boots is completely different, the spk mold coming from the old salomon ellipse boot which is a 105 or 106 last i believe, and the ghost comes from the salomon falcon mold which is a 98 last, completely different widths and fits. That being said, the ghost is much stiffer than the spk pro, and ur spk kaos will fit exactly the same as the spk pro. And if u think the 25.5 is a tad to small, id sitll suggest getting the smaller size, the boot packs out, and u can also stretch/punch out the toe of the boot, getting boots too big causes nothing but problems. Regardless, u have to go try on the ghost, ive had spks before, and i tried on my friends ghosts because of how narrow my feet r and they fit super nice, but did not feel as narrow as other 98lasted boots ive had one ie: full tilts, nordica dobermans, nordica hot rod 125s, tecnica agent 120s, this mainly has to do with the liner of the boot, the ghost has a much cusher liner than most other 98 lasted boots, i own a pair of full tilts as well, and the fit on them is much more narrow than the ghost boot IMO, but go to a boot fitter listen to what he says, ive been fitting boots for 4 years now, and have done alot of custom fitting for customers.

You said that your a boot fitter. Im looking into getting a new boot aswell. Im 5'11 190-195 pounds, What do you reccomend for a All-Mountain/Park boot. Not that great at park, mostly hit jumps, and tear up blacks/double blacks..

hed have to see ur foot to figure out what boot u shud get, thats why u shud go to a local boot fitter and see what they think

Take a look that the Shogun as well. It's a nice compromise between those two boots. It's the same last as the Ghost (98) but a bit softer flex.
