So I'm in need of some new speakers. I'm about to pull the trigger on some Dr. Dre portable dre beat box cus the thing bumps, is portable, and has bluetooth. However I would appreciate some input/other options here. It's pricy but not many things can bump like this

So ya anyone has an opinion here throw it at me

I have no experience with either of the speakers but you may want to look at the turtleshell speaker from outdoor technology, sounds like they have everything you want and cost quite a bit less.

I know I'm beating a dead horse but beats have a reputation of being overpriced because they are very overpriced, the only reason kids think they sound better is because of a heavily tailored frequency response focused on the bass end, something that can be done through eq on pretty much any mp3 player.

$100 cheaper. I've used it a bit recently, its quite loud, and has incredible quality at all frequencies & volumes. much deeper and clearer lows than I expected from such a small speaker. personally I think the Beats collection sucks for sound quality versus price, and Bose always delivers. but if you're sold on the name Beats by Dre, spend away and look cool

Take a look at the Jawbone Jambox. The sound is good and they are quite a bit cheaper, in the sub-$200 range.

i should mention i can get it at 3 hundo so to whoever suggested the bose one, same price as that. more bump
