I have no idea what happened... I'm using the new "Apocalypse Now" hack, it worked well for the first day or two. Yesterday though every shot wouldn't play back right (on camera). I put them all on my computer and this happened... I was looking at shots today they were playing back fine on the camera.. I came home and this is what happened when they all DL'ed....

Could the GOP length be wrong? It's playing every single frame in the image but then it leaves it in the sequence...

I have no clue what to do.. I re-did the hack re-formated and its just doing this...

My workflow is importing the entire card (DCIM, MISC, Private), then using Clipwrap to convert to AIC, (I've tried re-wrapping them to and it still wont work. I viewed them on VLC and the .MTS files are still like this, just a bit less severe..

Please if you have nay idea what is wrong with this that would be rad!

Thanks

never seen that, but it is normal for stuff to not play back. Try formatting your card, doing a clean install of the patch etc. Also, what lens/settings/card are you using, and what were you shooting? Many of the patches were/are sensitive to things like detail in the scene, or shutter speed

I reformatted the card, and did a clean install. It still does it. Half the shots playback on the camera, but all of them are fucked on the computer. I was shooting on a Canon 70-200 2.8L/ Redrock adapeter. I shot on Cinema mode, had a ND so shutter of 50. It was shooting a biker through trees. Thanks for the quick reply

settings seem normal enough, and while there is a lot of detail and motion when shooting biking (detail from leaves/textures, motion from panning and biker etc.), these hacks have come a long way. I am going to have to agree with landis and say try a different patch. You could also try a different workflow, the only reason I feel that this is relevant is because some play back in camera, but they are all messed up on the computer, which means there is a systematic error somewhere between it writing to the card and you viewing it

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll try a new hack.

My main concerns are getting this footage back, I've been shooting for a commercial piece. Really would like these shots back. Any ideas or things to try to salvage the footage?

Thanks!
