Getting thru Windows 2000

Hey, i'm at school and they just put Windows 2000 on the computers and I can't download anything or change anything on it. How can I get by all that and get AIM to work on the computer? Thanks guys!

Does each student have a network drive? If so, try installing something like trillian directly onto your network drive.

Yeah, our school allows you to install programs directly on your network space. Other than that, win 2000 seems pretty secure from what i've found.

Can you hold down the safe mode button, and get in and change a few passwords? You can do that is ME, at lest you could...not sure if they fixed that.

 
i thought this was a personal PC issue.... when 2000 fucked me up, i just went over to XP.

at school, shit. with no network drive, you're gonna have to search the web for some advice...
