How can you get sponsored? There are a few ways and Im looking for the best. comment what you think and will be mentioned in my how-to-get-sponsored thread! Thanks NS!

Being a good skier, having a unique style but most importantly having a good attitude is key. Companies want people who represent what theyre all about, id you're a likeable guy(or girl) and can shred the mountain while carrying an amazing attitude with you..youre bound to find a hookup somewhere.

if youre a good skier, the sponsors will come to you. dont worry about getting sponsored, just ski, have as much fun as possible. if you get sponsored, you get sponsored. if you dont you dont. all tahts important is that you have fun

For skateboarding the best way is to send a sponsor tape to all local shops. If your good enough you'll get picked up and then your local shops shop footage to bigger companies. Sending a sponsor tape to a huge company usually dosnt work. There defiantly arnt as many ski shops than skateboarding but that's how I'd try to get a sponsor

If you're not getting free merchandise, sponsorships are pretty stupid IMO.
But you could take the cheaters route for sponsorship and use hookit.com

Prove you can make a ski brand more money better than the next guy (and more cheaply.)
Have long term potential in doing that.
Helps do be a household name.
In other words, do cool and/or desirable stuff consistently with some product in front of people that are willing and able to buy that product.
Be a good little doggy and fetch that money for your owner!!

Post about how old you are and how good you are for your age, use lots of mid 2000's hip-hop and dubstep from 2011 in a few edits, get a good lifestyle shot.

Don't get the idea that you can just send in a sponsor me video or win a comp and get instantly sponsored by a big name brand. Sponsorship takes hard fucking work, not only on your skills, but also on getting a reputation/status. Put out lots of edits, try to get well known at your local ski hill, get to know the local reps, maybe try and get noticed at a summer camp, and connections, connections, connections. And probably above all else, make sure you are at a high enough level that a reputable sponsor would actually consider you. If you're not a "turns heads" kind of skier, keep working until you get there.

I explained what I was doing this season. I also explained to them how I could help them, ect also I believe my Instagram helped a bunch.

There are no shortage of good skiiers if you don't suck Id concentrate on branding yourself off the slope.
I personally would do some porno on the side and if you can crush that and ski well you'll be a hot commodity. Drop a gay porn if you want to be even more popular and cutting edge.
Other suggestions would be to show you doing drugs before your edits if people see you smoking a crack pipe on the lift and not just weed peeps will be impressed and think you are super badass.
FINALLY....get into a couple fights (careful not with the wrong people and avoid arrests) and let it be known you can take anyone on the hill.
Drug usage, toughness, and penis size are what will get you where you need to go.

Do what Tom Wallisch did and just make some small edits and get yourself seen. If you want to get noticed, put your youtube url in your instagram and have your friends check it out and companies will start looking at you. I did the same thing for wakeboarding and skiing and got noticed quick. I got noticed by Elevated Clothing on instagram and they hooked me up with some cool free shirts because I won a weekly think and they also gave me a code for some super cheap stuff. Go check em out! Good luck on your path to finding a sponsor.
