Getting ripped off in contests

Non ski content but this fest a few years ago had a contest for best trip to a festival story.

I put in mine about hitching from IL to AR with these sketchy pirate wooks that ended up having scabies, my back pack with all my stuff flying off the roof somewhere in MO, and a bunch of other nonsense. Ended up winning but didn't find out till like 6 months after the festival when I checked my others box on facebook. Facebook really derped when they did that.

So I had 2 full passes that I didn't use. I guess it's all good because I got guest listed by one of the bands anyway but I could have given those passes away to some friends at least.

So I didn't really get ripped off because I one but I wasn't able to claim the prize so it was useless
 
one time i was at COC and some dumb kid i didn't like won a signed snowboard so i yelled out "he's a skier" and COC took it back from him. good times.
 
I won a Uni Threads hoodie a few years back, but never got it. I've emailed them a number of times, and they haven't responded. It's a bummer.
