Getting Pop

I am having trouble getting pop off of jumps. I can pull 3s and shit, but inorder to take it to the next level I need to learn how to pop correctly so I can get more air. Anyone have any advice to help this?? I have heard people talking about popping off the tips instead of your boots... What is that about??
 
just try jumping in your house with your ski boots on and the more you do it the higher you get so once you get to the snow just do really hard pop streigt airs with no poles and hands in front... people think you will look lnon steezy but you will be laughing at them when you can spin right every time.

(example watch arial peoples set and pop off jumps and if you do it like that your good to go)

once you have the pop down you can work on bringing the legs up and grabbing or whatever

just do a few groomer runs, and pop of every knoll and roller you see until you have a solid, balanced, consistent feel everytime. it'll look retarded, but its worth a few runs to get it down. then take the same pop on jumps.
 
dont watch aerialists...thats if you wanna set for a backflip or crazy ass shit that they do. what you wanna do is be pretty forward in your boots and pop pretty forward so that you dont get sent backseat. if youre too forward you will know and you can make adjustments with that.
 
they set exactly the same as someone that knows what they are doing on a normal jump.

the problem with most peoples pop is that they lean forward and drop a shoulder or look down

if you pop like i said you will be fine
