Getting less sleep

word. last 2 months have really fucked my sleep patterns up. basically have to wait until after exams to correct myself. shits gonna be a long 20+ days to come.
 
My left eyes been twitching like a mother fucker lately. pretty sure its cause im not getting enough sleep..
 
The most recent sleep studies have shown that people who don't sleep enough have a higher risk of becoming overweight, and that people who sleep too much risk many types of health problems.

I am not completely sure how much this is true & I can't explain it, but basically 5 REM sleep phases will give you a good sleep. (Each sleep phase is roughly 1h30, 5 x 1h30 = 7h30).

Some people can put up with very little sleep, such as 5-6h/night, whereas some need at least 8h/night, it all varies from person to person. Sleeping too much can almost be as bad as not sleeping enough, though.
 
I get usually get about 7 hours sleep, for some reason I procrastinate about going to bed/sleep and keep finding something else to do before calling it a night.

On the odd night I do try and go to sleep earlier I just end uo lying in bed wide awake
 
anyone else find it absurd how annoying it is simply sharing a room to sleep in the same room as another person? i would never reccomend living in a double at college that is fucking shitty, makes me so irratable unless im shitfaced. shit.
 
Just deal with it, I have been running on 5-6 hours of sleep a night. You just deal with it, oh and coffee helps a lot.
 
wait until you get to college. im an architecture major and pledging a fraternity, so i have no time. i sleep maybe 4-5 hours on a weeknight. there are weeks when i get to wednesday and havent slept since sunday night. and i have mono too which makes it even more difficult.
 
I like 10 hours to feel good. But if I'm active on short sleep I'm okay, it's just trying to sit in class where I feel like a zombie
 
i wouldn't be able to survive here if i wasn't getting 8+ hours of sleep a night. i am so physically exhausted every day that i never have trouble sleeping, it's more of an effort to get all my work done after practice so i can go to bed early enough to survive the next day's practice

my days of sleeping until like 12:30 are over though. i can't really make it past 10
 
ive begun smoking vaporized indica every night to help get me to sleep and its doing wonders. gets me to sleep amazingly and keeps me asleep till my alarm in the morning. i dont wake up once in the night unless i have to pee or something like that. and i wake up totally re energized. I also have a serious head condition but still it helps a ton. maybe look into it if you have a sleep problem.
