Getting in Shape For Ski Season

I like pizza!

I also recently got the Mtn Athletics app, it's got some great training ideas. Focuses a lot on the legs, but also gets your upper body which is bomb to help reduce injury. Basically use that and then elaborate a bit more in the gym, and have been trying to bike a bunch too to boost endurance!

I did a lot of plyometrics this summer (the p90x workout version) because it's good for "jumping" sports, like basketball, skiing, etc. I wanted to do whatever I could to get the right leg muscles in good shape for the season

Now, I'm doing post-knee surgery PT. BLEH. Trying to rebuild my quad muscle, and all my other asshole leg muscles that atrophied. Shooting to be strong enough to ski by January! If anyone's got any tips on post-knee op recovery I'd love to hear them.

I've been hiking and riding my bike daily, doing wall sits, jumping on the tramp and whatever else I can in between school and work.

Right now it involves all study and no play time or work time... but for real though I can't say it enough.... Kayla Itsines.

Kayla Itsines is life.
