Getting fucked by the law.

Over summer i got into a little fist fight. The consent was completly mutual. We met at a park and stood toe to toe and i knocked the kid out. After he went out i hit him 3 or 4 more times for good measure. The cops showed up at my house an hour later and took me to jail. Spent the night in a drunk tank then got realesed on bail the next day. Had my court hearing about a month and a half later and got drug tested...passed. Final hearing another month and a half later. Drug Test = failed. Got sentanced to 18 months probation and 10 days in jail and 2000$ fee's. I read all these stories about people going streaking and breaking every car they see and they get 500$ fee no jail time, and people who have over a gram of bud and run away from cops and all this shit. Im just wondering if i got fucked by the long dick of the law.

Keep in mind....im not even 18 yet.
 
yea pretty harsh, but i think you need to be more concerned about getting fucked by rico and his buddies during shower time in the big house...compared to the long arm of the law.
 
the probation seems a little long and the fine seems slightly large but your lucky you didn't get more jail time, you could have received a lot more
 
So what happened to the other guy if it was completely mutual? And I'm guessing this stays on your record, so good luck with that.
 
The other guy got nothing. nothing at all...he got the short end of the stick so they felt bad for him. The only sort of involvment with the law he got from this was getting questioned by the cops asking who did it to him.
 
Dude that's harsh. My brother knocked a kid out last summer, he got it differed in the court and had 15 hrs community service & an essay about brain trauma. It's not going on his record either since he got it differed.

But now he's facing a 2nd degree robbery charge for this dealer we jacked a few months ago... We stole all his money after he sold an ounce of bud & he filed a police report. It was bullshit.
