Getting enough speed.

I come from a racing background and just last year got into the whirly birds and fliparooskies of park skiing. Im watching old footage from this last season and realize that I have trouble getting enough speed.

I'd be going up to a mid-sized booter without speedchecking or anything and I would be dick's length away from knuckling hard.

What do you do to get your jacket flapping if anything.

The most important factor I speed much more then wax is having an appropriate structure on the ski. Your from racing so I woul think you know all about that stuff. Park skiers neglect there base and then are surprised they are slow compared to other skiers. If you ever get to take a look at pros skis at a big event they are prepare just as well as any race ski.
