Getting along better with people who live further away.

For some reason i always just end up relating more to people who live like 100km away from me, anybody know if theres an actual reason for why that would happen since i doubt its always a coincidence
 
I think when people live far away from you they have less opportunities for their habits and mannerisms to bother you. Whereas people who live closer to you, you see them a lot more often and it's much easier for their mannerisms to start irritating you. I've definitely experienced this alot in my life as well

i guess that does make some sense. Glad to see im not the only one who experiences this
 
Distance is a tough thing for friendship in my life. Ive moved around and made friends in different places but I'm always ending up far away from my best friends and only managing to see them once a year if I'm lucky. Makes me sad to be honest distance can make you feel pretty lonely sometimes.

Well I feel ya dude. Where you live?

One word of advice I got is that spend all the gas money, bus tickets, etc you can cuz getting out there and spending time with the people close to you is the most important thing. You'll never regret spending some time and money on friendship

im in montreal and if you know a bit about quebec geography well all my close friends are gone in quebec city or sherbrooke. But yeah ill always spend money to go see my friends.
 
Hell yeah Montreal is a sick city my brother goes to Concordia. Where do you ski?

And yeah thats a bit of a hike to quebec city but not too bad for wrekend every now and then

it is pretty bad when you dont got a car tho, my local is bromont and am pretty much at st bruno every night after school lapping the "park"
 
Okay never heard of st bruno is that a resort? Bromont is dope though good biking too. Yeah I feel that for sure. If youve got some money to spare theres always cheap beaters on marketplace Id say always worth it

saint bruno is a tiny resort about 15 min from longeuil

they got a tiny park but its still good
 
Some times tiny parks are awesome, a big flat tube has infinite fun on it and when you can hit everything in the park it really feels like your own playground haha

Seems like a good spot to have close by

they have a nice long tube but theres a huge dent in the end of it that sends you flying
 
Lol that sucks, maybe they could cut it down and get rid of the dent. Or flip it over wtf thats sloppy park work hey
