Getting a quicktime movie to play

for the past 2 days my friends and i have been making a ski movie at school because they have sick macs and its easy to edit. So today we fisnihed and exported it to quicktime then burned it onto a dvd. Now i brought it home to my dell and i dont know how to play it. If anyone knows what i would have to do in order to get it to work that would be sweet. word
 
i just put in a blank dvd and dragged the exported movie onto it and just pushed burn disk at the top of the folder
