Getting 4G LTE On My Mac???

So I'm going to be traveling a lot in the next few years, and I'd like to be able to be able to use my computer and upload pictures to the internet, but I'm not sure I'll have access to Wi-Fi while I'm out on my adventures. Anybody know how I can make my Macbook Pro have the capability to pick up a signal like my phone can? I was going to go talk to Verizon Wireless about it considering I have my phone through them, but I want to know a little more going into it.

Thanks for any help ya'll can provide!

tether your phone to your mac and stream internet from your phone.

This

When I didn't have wifi at my apartment a couple years ago I used the app FoxFi and was able to use my phone as the "router"

There's two apps, FoxFi and FoxFi Key. One is free with a 5 minute limit. The other is paid, $7, for unlimited use.

Met a guy who pays $120 on his cell phone bill for unlimited internet... Uses that for everything and claims it's faster and smoother than when he had a router.

Get a hotspot plan on your iPhone/Android.

That's what I'm using when I work remote. Plenty fast.

just root/jailbreak your phone and its free.

On my galaxy you can just turn on the usb, wifi, or bluetooth tethering through settings, it works I've been using it for the past few days since my internet went out.

Get a dedicated 4g dongle or mini modem.

Providers have special data packages for these things that are usually immensely cheaper then blowing your phone's data-limit via tethering.

Tethering is good for occasional use, for continual, get something dedicated.

Ok so they make little hot spot devices like portable motums that last for x hours/minutes but if you have an iphone go into settings (5th one down in the first blockk of stuff) the bottom of the 5 it wil say personal hot spot turnit on then go on your mac look for a wifi netwrork and "(whatever your name is) iphone" select that then you are using data on your computer
