GetBoards.com is it that bad?

I just recently ordered some skis from getboards that will ship to Australia with priority shipping, I also stumbled upon some newschoolers threads saying that you should never order from them and it'll take ages. I'm shitting my pants about this at the moment because i need the skis by June the 20th.
 
No they are consistently weeks late. It has to do with their shipping location or something. Sorry dude.
 
shipping said it would take 2-5 business and theres a month and 2 days until i need them. Think they will come in time?

Dude chill I ordered a pair of skis to england from getboards and it arrived pretty quick. A little late but only by a couple days and that was because they got held up at customs and I had to pay import tax or some BS like that.
 
I've had orders from Getboards for years... and I'm talking back to probably 2004/2005. I've had one late order, and it was late by a week - that was back in 2007ish. Out of probably 15-25 things I've bought from them, I've always had pretty good service.

Others might have complained of some, but for me, I've never had an order go awry.

...hell, one time I ordered a DVD and a hat from them and it was at my house in, I shit you not, less than 24 hours (granted I lived in CA then, but still.. shipping from LA to Northern California is still a decent distance - it's a big state)
 
ive heard of alot of people that have problems with getboards. kinda weird. i have been ordering from them for quite a while, have bought skis, apparel, poles, bunch of stuff and i live in montana and i have never had any late or screwed up orders... maybe ive been lucky ? i duno , but ive never had any problems with them at all. good luck.
 
Last time I ordered from getboards, they didn't send me half of my order... but then again they didn't end up charging me for that half either, regardless I was a bit pissed as they didn't even tell me they weren't going to sell me the half I didn't end up getting.

The other stuff shipped on time though so I think you'll probably be alright

Or your shit could be on the moon and you're toast. Probably the latter.

i ordered some stuff, and a box shows up to my house, 90 and a 1/2 days late, i open the box, and... they sent me fire, i shit you not, a box filled to the top with fire... FIRE!!!!! my house decided to join the box and them it all burned down, Fuck get boards

Ive ordered shirts and stuff from them and there prices are qite good actually but shipping is really long its probably because things are so cheap on there site people order so fast they cant keep up with shipping.
 
I ordered some snowpants from them about 6 years ago and it took long as fuck - I think about 2 months (I live in Canada). I'd be surprised if they were still that bad 6 years later and still be able to survive as a company.

Why the fuck would you order the skis and then ask whether or not they will arrive in time? Have some common sense. That being said I hate to inform you that I live in NZ and I have had skis take 2 months to arrive from Getboards

I ordered some shit from them and it was supposed to go to my address on the moon. Instead it went to fucking Mars. You're fucked.

Personally, I've never had problems with getboards. I ordered my b-dog jacket, my AR7's, FKS's, and a bunch of snapbacks and t's and none took more than a week and a half! I live in MN tho...don't know if that makes a difference! It's my go-to website for my ski gear! Super cheap!
 
I've nevr had problems with them, ive ordered probably 3-4 things from them and two of them were skis.

If they haven't shipped it, then maybe you can cancel it. They might charge a cancellation fee.. so be it. Call them, email them. There's a risk if you cancel that it would've arrived on time anyway and a risk if you do (the fee, and the costs of buying elsewhere.)

But if you ask them when they ship, you have to work out whether or not to believe them. Are you aware of customs fees?

Yeah right! As I know that shipping days would reach from 5-10 days. Als depends on where's the location. I think you should update from them everyday.
