summit snowrider superpipe classic is just 8 days away. so start get the boost on because this comp needs to be ligit.

why?

because if you dont, eventually, there really won't be many quality competitions for skiers in the region. just look at jib this - there were like 12 skiers, that was just barely enough to even allow it to happen. The snowboarders had over 60 people competing the day before. That was a kick in the knees. It just can't happen again.

so do yourself and the life that is skiing a favor by participating. it is crucial.

unfortunatly, very few skiers around here actually ski pipe, and for 35 dollers i dont think the turnout will be very good. BUT its worth a try grant!!!! i would likewise want to see more skiers, AND more pipe comps. what is there, two?
 
yea andy there are only 2. if few compete, there will only be one. if few compete at that one, there will be none
 
I have only seen 2 legit skiers from around here in the pipe, one being you(skierboy_26) and Sam Hall.
 
there's a couple more guys that can throw some shyt in the pipe, but not many. I really don't understand it, there's plenty of talented skiers around here, and once you learn your basic spins of jumps its pretty easy to transfer them over to the pipe.

Sam flew back cuz he heard if 15 people enter pro, first prize is a grand. I had to burst his bubble though and remind him that we'd be lucky to get 5.
 
so that makes 6 people, I will try and be there and film it. all the people I film normaly ran off to whistler and forgot to take me.:(

its tomorrow! am, pro, dont matter. come, otherwise you might as well piss on the future of some skiing events around here.
 
I think their was like 10 people tops 7-8 in Pro and 2-3 in Am. Grant won and Chris got second, Sam hit the deack about 5 times, 3 in the sam place on the same trick (all consecutive). The park was nice too.
 
it was fun, nice pipe

but it was super dissapointing to see so few people. it was dope to have the people that did compete competing, but shit ...

hopefully more show for the stevens pipe on sunday
