Gear you would like to see on the mountain in the future

I have an engineering project at school where everyone in the class has to come up with a useful invention that hasn't been produced yet. I figured I would stick with something ski related. Does any one have a concept of something they would see useful on the mountain that hasn't been created yet?

I have over a year and a half to design/make a prototype for what ever it may be so any suggestions would be appreciated.

+k for good feedback

I always say I need a screw driver when I'm out on the mountain to fix my din, my friends snowboard bindings and anything else. I've always thought about making a pole with a screw driver at the bottom. I know it could possible brake but it's an idea you could work on possibly

Left ice tip= Phillips screw driver

Right Ice tip= flathead

Order replacement part when dull, lost, or broken.

Just make it the same size as every other driver bit. So you can go to the hard wear store and get new ones.

Would be a huge gaper thing to use but still semi cool. Solar powered jacket that is heated and has a plug in for your phone to charge it. Same idea for boots/gloves.

I think someone did this but a "smart glove". A glove that can give you access to information like speed, temp, location ect...

the screwdriver thing is a good one, but not in the pole. Race coaches carry them in their boots, its a great way to do it buy you still dont want a long pointy thing in the park.

Make a small, skiing specific multi tool that has posi, SUPER BIG flat, reg phillips, and an allen key or two to fit common boot hardware. Make that sucker fold up in a good way and design it to securely live on your boot. My best recommendation is prolly on the power strap. A good sharp file to fix blown edges and a lil knife blade would probably be good to have as well.

If you dont make it I will!
