Gear rental?

So Ive been wanting a glidecam latley, I kind of want to try it out first before I buy one, does anyone know what the best place to rent gear from is?

I would recommend the 1000 or 2000, as they are cheaper, and more likely to fit your camera (1000 is like 1-3.5 pounds, 2000 is 3-6, 4000 goes up to 10, all with a little wiggle room, but you want to be more towards the middle of the range, kind of like bindings)
 
you might even want to go with the 1000. I have the gh2 rigged up with a rode videomic (on a mini ball head) and the rokinon fisheye, and it only takes 2 plates on each side. Now that I have a quick release, I need to add a third plate to each, but they column is all the way in. So unless you have like a tokina 11-16 (I'm referencing this because it is popular and relatively heavy) a quick release, and a mic, you may not even be in range on the 2000. There is nothing bad about the 1000, it is simply for lighter cameras
 
Sweet maybe ill just do that! If I go the 1000 then ill just put the money I would use to rent it towards buying a 1000! If I had my t2i the rokinon 8mm fisheye with maybe a external mic, would I be okay with the 1000?
 
I mean that can't weigh much more than my setup, maybe a little more with the aps-c lens vs a m43 one, but again I'm only using half the weights (you can put up to 4 on each side), and I have it perfectly balanced, so you should be set
