i think the east coast is fuct b/c of the heat...its been like 90 something for the last week, then cooled down, then hot again. can't blame it on anything else. other than that, that's a lot of the reason that you don't see a lot of people who're normally here here anymore (that and the messed up cookie shit for the online list).

this site is has been extremely gay for the entire time i've been posting here.

the reason why i posted here to begin with was because I felt that my posts may help people out and get people to understand whats happening in the industry, since i have a viewpoit thats a little closer to the center of the scene.

as soon as i began posting i encountered too many damned 16 year old kids who think that they know everything about skiing, and whats going on in the center of the skiing universe, so rather than listening to true stories and accounts from mammoths scene they chose to attack what i was saying as 'name dropping' and things of that sort.

so once this began i got over being serious and respectfull real fast. now i post things that are straight truth, but the second they are attacked then I bring the fury, cause i sure as hell am not gonna sit back while being attacked by some snot nosed kid.

i used to go on here when i am doing homework and when i am bored, it was cool, i dunno why, it just was interesting to hear what other people are saying. in the last few months this site has gotten really boring, lost its cool. i am on here a quarter of the time i used to be on here, and it is getting worse. its turning into freeze. i have been here for a year and a half. i am pretty new, and i dont have that many posts ether, but tahts just what i have to say.

newschoolers has gotten really stupid lately. i think it's cuz most of us aren't skiing and so we don't have that much in common to talk about. i mean..in the winter we're kind of all connected cuz we all ski but in the summer we're all our different people. it used to be better when the original people were here and there weren't so many damn newbies...even though i haven't been here for that long..

and what's w/ everyone getting so pissy w/ each other?? i mean..people always have their days but now it's like..people fucking hate each other and...i dunno i haven't been here nearly as much as i used to and i don't post that much anymore. this is turning into a little freeze forum shit thing..and that sux.

i'm happy to see other people on the site feel the same way i do. though i have about 10 posts (maybe...) i have been on the site for a while. the reason i have so few posts is because so many of the threads are meaningless dribble. too many people on here can't just chill and LET people not be as good as they think they are...are too anxious to pretend they once thought they saw a pro...or are too busy braggin about equipment and dissing other shit. we all love skiing...it doens't fucking matter if you snowplow on elans or throw rodeos on dynastars...get a fucking grip on what skills you ACTUALLY possess and be happy that you are lucky enough to have skis and stop talking shit. a good majority of the people on here just need to grow up.

the main problem is, that has killed many of skiings sick websites of old (k2 ski chatter, poor boyz forum, freeze forum). They are rad when only a few people know but then as more people find them they become way harder to manage and to not have them turn downhill. Basicly if you want numbers to your site and you have a forum something like this is bound to happen in time.
