No, I'm not. I never said I was open to anybody's beliefs. They can believe what they want, and I have no problem with it. Like I said, people begin to lose their right in believing what they wish (or should, in my eyes), when these beliefs infringe upon others. Believe homosexuality is wrong. That's fine. Don't deny homosexuals the rights given to people of other sexual orientations, even people who are not citizens of this country because of this belief. Your domain of right to believe ends where others begin.
For me, things should be based on logic, and not faith. I have to admit I'm not a person of faith, be it in a deity or a person. I suppose from your point of view, my argument makes little sense, but the same is true from mine of yours.
Can you answer a question for me, just to humor me? What would you think of homosexuals if there was nothing in the Bible or in any religious teachings for or against it? I realize that's hard for you, or anybody, to do. I'm in no way asking you to recount your beliefs. But please, try.
