gauge in sidewall

can i use epoxy glue to fill in a gauge in my sidewall? i can see the core and the top of the edge so i think i need to fill it

 
yah, that's all we use at the shop to fill topsheet gouges, just different colored epoxy

yea thats whats happening with my scratches. i still need to fill them in with epoxy

I've been skiing wih a sidewall gouge for a while now on my beater skis. Hasn't really bothered me. They're cap construction though. Don't know how much of a difference that makes, I've never done that to a sidewall ski.
