GASP! I want to snowboard

Even though I plan on skiing every chance I get this winter, I've been considering buying a snowboard setup for the hell of it. Just looking to tool around on groomers and in the park. Having not boarded in about 10 years, I'll be relearning most everything, I would like to become an able snowboarder just to say I am. Anyway, what I need is advice on equipment. I don't want to spend a ton, but I can't be a gaper, either.

As I understand, just like skiing, boots are the most important part. I fit well in Lange and Dalbello boots, and was wondering what brands to look at.

For a board I am looking for the equivalent of the K2 Silencer - cheap but not a piece of trash

I have no clue about bindings.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

I do a little snowboarding too just when I want a change. I have narrow feet and a very narrow heel. Salomon F series are the only boots that have ever felt secure on my heel. Guys I work with told me Northwave are narrow-ish too.

Just go to a good snowboard shop dude, they'll hook you up with what you need. This really isn't the best place to ask about equipment, especially snowboard equipment.
