ok so this weekend i went on a trip with my family to the the UP and we were skiing at norway mtn....now i had been hitting up their park all day and it was about 1:30 and it was only my 2nd run after i ate lunch...i was coming in to the jump with some speed and i saw this little girl skiing along next to me, thought nothing of it at the time but as i go off the jump i look down and see this girl underneath me and Im about to land on her....first thing that goes through my mind was the switch 7 to girl tap video, except mine turned out a lot worse....i come down and well you could of guessed it drilled her, luckily for her i moved my ski and hit her with like my knee/thigh, still knocked the shit out of her but it could of been a lot worse....to all you gapers who think your all that, STAY OUT OF THE PARK AND OFF THE LANDINGS. but the best part of all, I got it on film..

I dont know whether to laugh or... well Im just going to laugh really fucking hard becasue the slo mo audio was absolutley hilarious.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH OH MY GOD THAT WAS HILARIOUS, actually tho i laughed so hard when i saw that

Fuck man i hate it when little shits are on the jump like that.

At PC there was this snowboarder i watch hit each jump in the 3 pack at kings going about 5 mph and land right in the middle of the deck, get up and hit the next one, its like wtf? Go to the small park jesus.

It's not mean that was very hilarious. I feel bad for the little kid getting landed on and all but seriously stay off the landing. Is it really that hard to figure out that the dangerous areas are the front and backs of the features?????? This video should play at the top of the park all day so parents can get a clue. I have no problems with people just cruising down the park but stay away from the front and back of features.

Nice job avoiding cutting her head off too.

i know im an ass but that was hilarious. just the part with slo mo actually and the fact that she is ok. but that coulda been bad

Well at least she learned her lesson. But yeah, everyone needs to stay out of the landing, or at least far enough to the side that you wont be hit by anyone.

hahaha little kids that role over the jumps are so annoying. they can hit the sides of jumps leading to rails and shit, im fine with that, but cruising over a jump, thats not cool. i have a sprained wrist from a gapper on the landing right now.

i know this may make me sound like a dick but

if i was you, i woulda gotten up and yelled at her parents. i woulda been like "tell your kid to get out of the jump, she made me fall. your dumb daughter completely made me waste a run." and i wouldnt have helped that kid at all, i woulda yelled at her.

i know it sounds really gay, but that was 100% her fault. kids just shouldnt be there.

at wachusett on sunday, some dumbass snowboarder was watching his son on skis go off about a 30 foot jump. the stupid dumbass pizzas his way down the drop in, and then just falls and takes a seat right on the jump, completely ruining the lip. just sat there for a good 5 minutes while i was watching, waiting for the lift to restart. then my buddy jeremiah said "you shouldnt be going off the jump." and his dumbass dad, sitting right on the deck almost in line of the jump says in a bitchy way "well my son wanted to go off the jump". i dont give a fuck what your son wants. hes ruining the jump and shouldnt be in the park until he knows how to ski with parallel skis.

I ski there on occasion, and norway is absolutly the best park to f around at. every thing there is mellow, and zero risk. You have to bomb the hill to make that jump though, and it was the girls fault for cutting up onto the deck of the jump. Good job avoiding killing her dude.

Thats why the Highest Level park on Blackcomb is the bomb diggy. You need a special pass and a helmet to get in there so theres no gaper factor to worry about.

you have no idea. At squaw, this kid went to hit the jump line, did the same exact thing at squaw, except on the second jump, he slowed the fuck down and started duckwalking up the lip when I thought he had skied away so I almost ran him over.

she totally made a turn to go into the landing after he left the ground there was no way for him to tell she would go in the landing area.

I'd say it's pretty much the resorts fault for not putting fences to prevent people from going on the landing area of a jump like that or not having any kind of way to prevent random nobodies to get in the park

i hate little kids, but i really hate their dumbass parents more who are like "oooooh look at the cool jumps!, lets go in there billy!" every mountain should make park passes and make people PAY for them, like in whistler there isn't anybody who isn't talented on skis in the HL park, the gapers basically have a bad park all to themselves and they stay their cause they dont wanna pay or take time to get a park pass.

It would be great if resot park pass would be mandatory but that you didnt have to pay form a park pass everywhere you go skiing.

I had to buy around 5 park apss so far this season totaling around 100$ and I skied only one time in most of these resorts.

Ski resorts association should make something about it and have provincial/state park pass or something

PWNED, but one day my homie was cruisin switch into the last jump in kings at pc and almost got murked by some little gaper who pizzaed into him about 10 feet before the lip

So what happened afterwards? Did the parents come up and bitch you out? Ski patrol Kick you out? The last time that happened to me the mom was a "mountain ambassador" got kicked off the mountain. Total BS if you ask me but whatever. So tell us what happened in the aftermath.

yeah that would be perfect. there would be like a short test to get your pass and then you could get into all the parks that follow that system. of course it would only be effective if lots of resorts followed it

the dad was pretty mellow about it, or at least it seemed like it...a instructor at norway said to the dad i have told your child twice not to be in here...ski patrol didnt really do anything....my mom came down and bitched out the ski patrol for letting noobs in the park though....it was funny....that whole experience made my whole trip...the girl was lucky i wasn't going to throw anything major.... had i done my 180 japan like the run before that girl would have been f'ed

i was sitting in the mid lodge at my home mountain with a guy in park crew and an instructor. some old guy came up the the instructor and was like hey, whos in charge of you guys. and hes like i am why?

the old guys like well my son was snowboarding, and one of your instructors came and ran into him. he didnt stop to say sorry or anything, he just rode away.

the guy was like really? are you sure it was one of my instructors? what trail were you on?

the kid chimes in (who ends up being like 20) and hes like i was in the terrain park on lower sleighride

the guys like well did you get his name? im going to have to give him a talking to.

meanwhile im sitting there listening in, and i asked where in the park he was, and if he was sitting on the landing of the jump. hes like yeah man, howd you know? did you see it? did you know who did it? and im like no, but its your fault you got hit, you cant expect people to see you sitting on the landing... if you fall its your job toget out of the way quickly, or just dont go on the trail

the kid just mumbled some shit and walked away.

Well you did a daffy and she did a front fliip. Maybe we need to rethink who the real freestyler is eh?

bahahaha! if you slow it down a lot, it looks like she skidded about 5 feet in a headstand position. how badass...
