Gaper Days

Well seeing as it is looking like Ohio won't make it till April 1st, I propose that this Saturday be gaper day at MRM. Break out the ski blades, ski in jeans, lets have some fun.
 
I couldn't make it this year, but I thought pond skimming was the gaper day. I might be wrong but that's just what I heard.
 
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I checked their webcams earlier today and i couldn't see any dirt spots. I guess it was just really thin.
 
this year no one is closing because of lack of snow, rather it's lack of interest. unfortunately, running a ski resort is a business and when people stop thinking about skiing and instead start thinking about spring break in cancun the resort isn't making money. as soon as the resort notices a lack of interest they will shut down. it's unfortunate that this year there is enough snow to make it to april 1st.
 
sad but true it is business, and too many people want to go to the beach instead of work on their goggle tans.

jakes right.... hike some rails....
