I would like to be able to play a ridiculous game of GNAR everywhere, this has been on my mind for a while and i think the best way for all of us under the term freeskier to honor the one true god Shane. Lets make a set of rules for Endless games of GNAR on every mountain because there is nothing more fun than a game of GNAR with your best amigos.

I've been doing this lately, and it's super fun. All you have to do (in the simplest form) is to keep all "extra credit" points form the game such as handing out 5 red bulls in the lift line. But then with at least one other buddy who skis at the same resort as you, discuss how much different lines should be. I can rate my whole mountain since i ski on the east with only 1000 vert and just a few hundred acres or so. But if you can't rate the whole area do it right before you hit the line or as you are taking the lift up. Also Check me out, I'm way radder than you!

there should be a "GNAR line of the winter" video contest to see who can get the most gnar points in a single line

First day skiing in colorado (my first time in december) and waiting in the gondi line and a local ripper just screamed it to the entire line and the look on most of the gapers face was priceless
 
Was skiing whistler on Saturday. Had about 10 of us on a cornice pole whacking, shouting 'I'm gonna rip the shit outta this' it was beautiful

Horseshoe 6, this was right before I tried to Cossack a 7-10ft cornice and tomohawked. Was beautiful
 
I like to play but with added on Extra Credit at my mountain

1. Ask to see the lift pass/patches of 3 people and have them show it

2. Cut the lift lines by saying "Ski Patrol" and thats it

3. Talk loudly while describing an overt illegal activity

4. After a line say "Thats it?"

5. Use a megaphone to tell people to slow down.

6. Ask "You got a beer?" to randoms

7. Challenge a racer to a race

It's a joke, and we had a lot of fun with it. I think Gaffney, Shane, and all the others would be stoked on it to be honest.
 
Drail had a facebook group for setting one up at Red, too bad it hasnt actually happened. Red would be an unreal place for GNAR with tons of classic lines.
 
I was in Burlington last year preseason time, driving to a friends place, stopped at stop sign, homie was walking down side walk with skiis and boots (must have just got em mounted) I called him over to my car, asked dude if he skiied, then proceeded to tell him, it's cool and all he skis, but I am a way better skiier than you, and drove away. /claim

If you are around Killington this season, I guarantee you will see me playing this game in the parks and all over the resort. Please do not hesitate to participate, so many goobers to troll out there. Game on!

i feel like we got into the spirit of it pretty hard this year. only the shit you can get away with at a ~vail resorts~ compound
 
OH holy shit I forgot. I was a liftie for two months, and worked 5 chair during dew tour while the lift was athlete only. you best believe my high ass told every single one of dem that i'm way better than them and i dont even know how they got to dew tour.

I'm in the East and my home mountain is tiny and doesn't have anything remotely resembling a cliff, but I'm going to figure out a way to make this shit happen this year
