hey i am planning on getting a g5 and i was wondering if it is worth it to wait another 6 mounths to get the extra money to get the 1.8 ghz dual processer or just get the 1.8 single processer

have any of you used the single?

How is it?

 
6 months is a long time, realy depends on what you plan on doing with it. If you arent doing anything really hard core the single processor is probably fine

It all depends on wat ur doing. If ur going to be doing a lot of rendering wait and go witht the dual. But 1.8 is still hella fast.

that's alot of computer.. *burning with jealousy* i presume that you're gonna be using it for video and fun stuff like that seeing as this is a skiing site. the thing is, prices will prolly have dropped in 6 months, so you'll get a much better computer then. then again, that's six months away. truthfully, a single 1.8 is plenty of power.. you can always up the ram when you get the money later to get more power. buy now! instant gratification!
