I just had a crazy idea of what grabs in skiing might be like in the future.

Imagine henrik harlauts great grandson dropping into xgames ski big air 2092 and he winds up a throws the worlds first dub 10 while unclipping and clipping back into his left ski.

Or even grabs where the rider just grabs a part of their binding making it arguably harder to do grabs like mute

and also grabs where the rider does grabs mid screamin seaman like a behind the back mute where its like a regular mute but the ski you grab is behind your leg

not even saying this needs to happen in 2092, with how skiing is getting now, running out of spins that can be humanly done, the only way the sport can keep going especially with how fast its progressing and how many people are doing it now would have to be creativity like this

I feel like I’ve seen dubs/future spins in both those events but maybe not jib league, only watched one epi so far . But either way those “style-based events” only have to exist because everything else has turned into gymnastics, so kind of a bad take

Man fuck it, why limit to 2 skis? I wanna see a third ski (fis can consider it a pole) in the hand switch out in the air. Maybe even in a slopestyle run. Swap your rail skis with your jump skis mid run. The sky is the limit.
