i get really really bad shinbang in my Ft's i got 4 flex toung and then dont even move i orderd a 2 flex and they gave me a 4 flex how can i get less shing bang?

Just cause you have FT's won't make shin bang go away. Not landing backseat is the best way to get rid of shin bang ;)

for the hundredth fucking time:

1. Your boot is too big

2. Stop landing/riding backseat

3. Your boot is buckled too loosely

4. Use the searchbar.

your legs are probably too skinny.

have you tried moving the top cable back? unscrew the sides of the boot and there is a second setting for the top cable.

Sounds like you bought boots without getting fitted and without trying them on, congratulations on being an idiot.

ive been getting shinbang in my konflicts too but its cause ive been trying a lot of new stuff and landing in the backseat. i tightened em and took it easy today and they felt just fine

You clearly have a bear trap caught around your lower leg. Everyone knows Full Tilts are medically proven to CURE shinbang and cancer.

How heavy are you that you need the flex 2 tongue?

I'm short and only weigh 130lbs, but I'm in the flex 4 tongue and can move it super well

I ski with riley all the time. He rarely goes backseat. I am starting to get it too. I have flex 4 on my FTs and I don't go backseat. At all.

Landing back seat is a pretty big reason for shin bang, but when your not perfect at landing its pretty hard to always land strait up and down. Try booster straps the pro ones are best they really helped with my fulltilts and shinbang.

most shin bang cases are caused by too much space between your shin and the tongue of the boot so you can move your leg back and forth. its not always a fitting problem because you can have a boot that fits you great in the ankle and foot but too big in the calf.

solution: fill in the space so you have no wiggle room. if your leg is snug in the boot you shin can't bang the tongue and hurt.

booster straps can help this because they tighten your tongue more than your traditional power strap.

a footbed can help by getting your ankle into a better position, which puts your calf into a better position as well.

of course there are other ways of stopping shin bang, but if you have it, chances are that one of these will fix it

yes. this is how i do it. the way the guy who fitted me told me to do it.middle cable first. flex a few times to get your heel to the end of the boot.do up the bottom one. (not tight, just to keep it their. if its too tight it will cut odd circulation within the foot, thus causing cold feet)do up the top one.do up the power strap.

Its actually not stupid and a good way strapping your boots. I always put my foot in, then bang my heel on the ground so my heel fits into the heel pocket, then the middle buckle, then toe, then upper, then power strap.

haha weird I always did booster strap first around just the liner, then middle, then the other two and I only ever really cranked the top one. The toe was just tight enough not to come off and the middle one was pretty loose too.

people thought i was dumb to not put the booster strap around the tongue but I swore by it

flex 6 would be the best. i got really bad shin bang with #4s and wonce i got 6s they killed but once they broke in i havnt had a problem with any pain. also get booster straps. i have super skinny legs so they tighten up alot more with em. they help soo much!! If your flex is to low you will over flex and get shin bang.

lol at people like you. many times when buckling from the bottom up, you actually lock your foot into the front of the boot and dont allow your foot to get set into the heel pocket, leading to many problems. Buckle top down kids.

i agree with the part about not buckling bottom up, but in my experience, with full tilts, you have to push your heel back, do the middle, then bottom then top then strap. that way you have the best fit.
