FULL TILT

Hey NS

just wondering what the salomon SPK's would be on the full tilt flex chart? also, what is the major difference between the dropkicks and the TW's?

K+ for helpful answers

I don't know what the flex difference would be but as for the difference between the drop kicks and twalls is that this years twalls have a bigger toebox. And I'm pretty sure that the difference between every drop kick and twall boot is the liner it comes with. The twall liner is full tilts "top of the line" liner and the drop kick liner is not. I have the drop kicks and love em!! It took about a solid week of skiing to break em in! If u get em u'll love em too!

Yeah its a hard one to compare, as they flex differently and also fit very differently. The 10 flex from Full tilt is around a 120 flex from salomon I would say, so about a 8 tongue should compare to the 100 flex of the spk this year.

But yeah they dont fit anything alike, so if you have been in a spk and it fitted well, its unlikely going to a boot with a 5mm smaller last will fit well. If the SPK were too wide for you they may be an option, but go to a fitter and see what he recommends, and remember a custom footbed is hugely important so put about $200 of your budget aside for that.
