Full tilt

my friend broke his neck and he cant ski until next year and he just bought full tilts used for 300 before he broke his neck so i told him i would buy them for alil under what he bought them for but they are full tilt classics ik ther all mountain will they be better for park than my spk kreations and idk what year they are but they are the 09 model and im paying 250 but they are brand new nicks or anything

This is what full tilt has done to people. If your SPK's fit fine and are in fine shape keep using them. That classic shell is a tough fit. Maybe they run a little small but for me that meant actually using the size I measure at instead of going down half a size or full size.

If you talk about fluctuating more than one shell size (one full size) you are either A. in the wrong size currently or B. about to buy the wrong size. When in doubt go with the smaller boot, they break in and it is always easier to make a small boot bigger than the other way aroud.

Sucks for your buddy no need to take on the burden yourself. Tell him to sell them here or somewhere else online if he doens't want to hold on to them for next season, theres always a demand for Full Tilts.

They're two sizes bigger than your foot? That should be raising a red flag right there.

Take them(borrow, not buy), and go find a boot fitter. Let him fit and size you properly. He should be able to determine whether the boot is right for you or not.

On top of it being two sizes too big, you also need to consider the width of your foot. FTs have a narrower fit. This is also a major factor in buying a boot.

Think with your head here. Don't buy a boot just because your friend is selling them cheap to you.

i didnt get them boot fitted and i live in iowa so theres one ski shop and idk if they have a qualified worker to fit boots but i tried them on and they are not huge at all they feel nice but i do agree on getting them boot fitted, they have enough wiggle room but still not hurting my feet and i did get shinbang. and i can always just borrow them and actaully go out and skii with them and see how i like them first K+

i was in a hurry my bad i was forgot what year they were and then i just went and looked it up and just forgot to change the first part of the sentence

I think you are confusing the job of a bootfitter. They do indeed do some work to modify the boots and heat mold the liners but the first and most important part of their job is to get someone into the right boot.

First, issue is finding the right size. An easy way to do this yourself is to find a ruler with centimeters. If it doesn't have centimeters you're gonna have to do some math (hopefully its better than your writing skills) I think its 2.54 cm to 1 inch or just type it into google. The sizing on the boots is called mondo point sizing and is just measuring the length of your foot in cm's. So if you measure 28.5 cm's you should be in a 28.5 boot. Theres much more to get into but thats a conversation to be had at your local shop.
