Full Tilt Tongue Help Please!

I just got the new seth's. im stoked for the 10 flex tongue for chargin, but not so sure about park. my last books were dalbello krypton cross, and the flex was like 90-100ish. i liked them in the park, but i deffinetly needed a way stiffer boot lots of times outside of the park.

im debating between the #6 and #8 flex tongue for park. anyone have any input? i weigh about 155 pounds. and im planning on using this tongue only for park, but still would like to have some fun heading to the park haha. thanks and +karma for advice

 
Hi! I think it depends on your park skills. i'am 81kg (sorry i dont get your pound feet mile system ^^) and i'm riding a #2 tongue buts its really soft. I guess a #6 will pe perfekt if u like it stiff. My next will be a #4.
 
6 Flex was stiffer than I expected when I tried it in the store, but I liked it. I'd recommend that one.

But then again, the 8 flex tongue matches your boots, and looks are all that matter, right?
 
im leaning towards 6. an 8 just wouldnt probably be enough of a difference to be worth the 40 bucks probably. thanks everyone, and +karma
 
I had a #2 all last season and this season i have a #4 and hate it. I liked the #2 way better cause my shins get really sore with #4. I way 125lbs and ski 80% park
 
im surprised, but all skiers are different. I only weight 120lbs (on a good day) and the #2 was way too soft in the park for me. I went to a #6 which was perfect but still not enough for charging and so I got the #10. I have so much better control with it and big pow skis. I also found with the #2 doing butters got squirrely, but the #6 was on the money.
 
number 6 ALL DAY.

i upgraded to full tilts from some mega low end trash rossi scratch boots, rated at a 50 flex. the added stiffness on the FT #6 gave me so much more control over my skis.

full tilts made me a better skier.
 
other than Matty_S, who said, how much do you all weigh? i was set on 6s till i read hes only 120 on a good day haha. im an agressive skier on jump size when im in a place with them... and im 5' 11" and weigh 153. so im might be a lot bigger than some of you.... makin 8 the flex for me... maybe im over thinkin this and shoulds just man up and make up my mind haha.
 
at first I was rockin the default white tongue for the booters, which was 2 i think (idk, maybe 4? i think 2....)? so I asked for a 4 or 6 tongue or something and the shop gave me it (its black). but then I went to another shop and they told me that the other shop had actually given me an 8 or something? Idk whose right, but if its really an 8, its not that stiff at all... and I'm like 128. so thinking about all of that again, its probably not an 8 haha. sorry im tired as fuck....
 
you can look inside of it to see what flex it is, and what the heck does your post say? ramble rable rable rable
