I've recently purchased a pair of Classics and I've had them heat moulded + a footbed to support the arches in my feet.

Now the only slight problem with them is that I'm getting a lot of pressure on the outside of my feet. It doesn't affect my skiing as I only notice it when I'm getting the lift back up and when I'm just standing around.

Am I doing the straps up too tight or is it something else?

Any help would be appreciated by either a bootfitter or anyone else who has had the same problem...

Many thanks in advance

If you are in the correct size boot with a footbed, you shouldn't be tightening the lower cable very much, if at all- the middle and upper cable are more important. So, check your cable tension

Are you skiing at all now? Try to get a couple of days in them before getting the shells worked on, which you might have to do if the problem persists. Don't worry there's always a fix.

Keep skiing and standing in them. This was exactly what was happening to me, i thought i was screwed and i was just one of those kids who bought fulltilts for the brand name but aafter about 4 or 5 days in them they were perfect.

I am skiing about once a week for about 3/4 hours on my local dry slope, also a lot of hiking up and down the slope to get out and put away the rails, kickers, blah, blah, blah. But I'll loosen the cables and see how it works out. Thanks for the help.

Last night was my 3rd evening in them and they do feel great in terms of weight, easy to get in and out of, steezy look to them as well!

I had previously tried on many different boots before I decided on the Classics, so I didn't buy them just because they have "Full Tilt" on the side of them. haha

Thanks for the advice :)

Hiking in Full Tilts usually sucks, at least for me. When I ski, I usually have the bottom buckle barely latched. And, what I do for hiking is, lift the lever of the middle buckle (but don't undo the cable) and then when I get to where I need to be I pop it back down. Also, always make sure that middle buckle is tight when skiing, it's what keeps you foot in place so it doesn't slide around, I broke the middle buckle last season and while wait for a new one to come I almost tore my calf muscle just by jumping and landing properly on a 45' jump.

my hotdoggers took my entire thanksgiving break and them some before the packed out and became comfy. give it at least 10 (more like 15) days before you consider getting bootwork done.
