Full Tilt, please make a boot that fits wider feet and isn't called Booter. Please, I beg you.

So, I went to the store a couple of days ago to try and find a new boot. I have previously ridden the FT Booter 11/12 and SPK 10/11. I loved the SPK's, but wanted to try out FT as I had heard such great things about their products. I bought a pair of the FT Booter last season and started getting problems. Shinbang and toebang was much more noticable and the boot just felt more painful all around. I know this might have something to do with me personally, rather than the boot, but anyways. So, I decided to give FT another go. Came into the store, sat down and tried on this years TWall, Drop Kick and Seth Morrison boots. I would say I have pretty average feet, not to wide, but a little perhaps. None of them would fit me. They were simply just too narrow around the widest part of my feet and the tightness was pretty unbearable to say the least. Then I tried on this years Booter pair, much better, the only pair of FT that actually felt good on my feet. Now, I don't know wheter or not I should get them. I love the way the initially feel on my feet, but my bad experience with my last pair really gave me an urge to try a different pair. I love the practical aspect of FT, the way they are easy to strap on etc. and I really wanna continue to wear the brand, even after my first experience with them. I was looking to buy any of the other boots than FT Booter, but I was quite dissapointed when they didn't fit me. So, is this something that FT is known for? Producing boots that might not fit people with wider feet? Maybe FT should keep this in mind when producing next years bootline? Maybe the B&E model will be more forgiving on the matter? Really don't know if should try another brand than FT right now, so just sharing some of my toughts on this. Anyone else have anything to contribute, feel free. Thanks.

I'd say try a different boot brand. Salomon, dalabelo, lange, etc all have boots that probably fit your feet. Having the same shit as everyone else isn't cool, bail on FT. I have wide feet and tried the booters last year and they literally feel like toys, a sneaker with a thin plastic shell, they were garbage. Get a real boot.

I'm not a trend whore. I like the simplicity and how practical they are, something I didn't find in Salomon. Thats why I wanna give them another go. Now, I'm probably going to give Dalbello a shot, they didn't have them at the boot fitter I went to though, so I'm gonna have to look somewhere else.

This is horse shit, they're just as complicated and hard to put on as any other boot, theyre fucking toys made for skinny 12 year old ankles with size 7 feet

Yea my spks take an hour to put on. Pull laces, 2 buckles, strap. I'm gonna see if I can find someone to put them on for me on a regular basis.

Yeah sounds like you really want to like them even they are obviously the wrong boot for you. Move on

Just because they are easier to put on doesn't mean they are good boots or, more importantly, the boot for you.

I would like to direct you to the "how to buy ski boots" thread in gear talk. Don't get full tilts just to have full tilts, even if they aren't the boot for you.

personally, i felt the spks were too wide for me but my wallisch's are a tad narrow. disclaimer: i went to a bootfitter and was fitted for these boots. i skied a 27.5 spk (bought used) and was fitted for a 26.5 wallisch. i skied for a few days in them and they felt fine until i started skiing park. the pinch on the widest part of my foot was unbearable when taking the blows of landing jumps and rails. had the shell blown out and the pain has subsided for the most part.

You sound like a washed up piece of shit who wanted to become good at skiing but sucked dick and turned to computers and cameras instead.

Yippee Kai Yay Mother F*cker

fulltilts are awesome because: weight, cheaper than most boots, adjustable flex, dont really pack outdisadvantages: build quality

as for anyone that likes salomon boots, those shells fucking pack out in half a season and then they fucking suck, and the two buckle system is so fucking impractical and dumb

Ha lets break this down.

1. You're complaining about putting on a boot, shut up you're being a fucking girl it a a boot you put it on you buckle it stop being so high maintenance.

2. You censored out "fucker" you pussy

3. You have no grounds to say anything about except for the pure jealously you have in your heart to be me

4. I guarantee I can ski better than you.

Take a fucking seat.

I wouldn't wanna spend half my life infront of a computer, so no thanks. Even if I was offered $100billion and TWall's afterbang, still wouldn't accept.

You don't have to know rocket science to tell you're a fucking nerd. Atleast you film and ski, so it's not the end of the world, but still the amount of time you spend indoors alone, lets just say most people wouldn't be able to take it.

You're again, assuming how much time I spend indoors. I go skiing 5 days a week (film and ski) and spend the hours after skiing (majority of which are dark) indoors and not necessarily at a computer, do you know what a smart phone is? Also, news flash, part of my job is to sit at a computer. Got any more brain busters? Fucking dip shit.

The nerd who wanted to be a skier, but couldn't and turned to computers and cameras. Man, I get it, we all get it. Just settle down and keep looking into your screen.

eheath has said everything I wanted to say and much more. don't get fulltilts if they don't fit your feet dummy

You can keep on with the fallacies as long as you want, whatever makes you feel better.

he deserved this quality meme as a first post.

Its simple man. get good boots in the right size. Full Tilts aren't for everyone.

I have ridiculously wide feet (106mm) and I've been loving my Atomic Overload 100s.

and remember, even with the perfect boots, socks, and footbeds, you will still get shinbang 100% of the time if you land backseat. Land centered or switch. You'll be pain free.

also, if you already have shin bang, I have found the cure. This "Chinese Ben Gay" is twice as potent, and literally numbs your shins if you rub it on them.

Cause I made a legit thread, asking something I was curious about and he started getting offensive out of nowhere.

You want full tilts cause they're cool, I will not show you respect for that. Listen to what I said, try a different brand. Everyones foot is different, get your boots fitted.

Yup, didn't see any "shut the fuck up" on his "you sound like a fucking girl" comment. He has the right to be disrespectful all he wants, cause hes got the biggest name. Most people on here will ofc take his side, but thats just how the internet works.

I don't specifically think they are cooler or looks better than other brands. My experience is that they are simple and practical, as I stated before. My previous pair was fitted and I'm having my next pair fitted, so yes, I'm getting them fitted, don't you worry.

Better yet, why don't you go to a ski store and try on lots of boots.

You said you are getting them "fitted" but if they don't fit you it doesn't work
