Full Tilt: Konflict vs Seth Morrison

I was told by a bootfitter that they are essentially the exact same boot but the seth is just more expensive. And in my opinion the graphics on the seth look like vomit.

I just picked up some konflicts and they are pretty awesome. I think they have the same flex and liner as the Seth Morrisons, they are just a bit cheaper and look alot better.

Konflict has an 8 flex tongue, while the Seth is a 10. Aside from that and the graphics they are the exact same boot.

they're both an 8 flex this year, last year's seth was a 10.

they both have the same footbeds this year as well as updated aluminum buckles for the konflict

same boots, the seth's are more expensive because the graphics are super expensive (and the green is coming off on customers / bootfitters)

This year, they are the same boots.

Last year, the Seth was the graphic loaded option of the First Chairs.

I have the First Chairs. Stiff enough for me (flex #10). I know other people find the #10 still soft, bit I can't notice.

What do you mean the green is coming off? The tongue is bleeding onto clothing or outerwear or something?

Alright sick, i like the looks of the konflict more. Going to have to go try on a flex 8 and see. I'm an ex ski racer so i typically like stiff boots..

this guy knows what's up

i find the #10 on my seths perfect for a do it all boot, but there are times I wish FT made a 12 or something

you can actually buy a tongue for a boot up to 3 sizes bigger and it will fit your boot. seth gets a 10 tongue in a bigger size and it makes it significantly stiffer.

the green coming off when heated up, nothing big but kind of a bummer considering this boot is all about the graphics. i just bought my second pair of first chairs today, excellent boots

I don't understand this.

I don't think getting a tongue that it 3 sizes larger than it is supposed to be works.

For all I know, it should throw the fit of the tongue into the boot off.

Available in 4 Sizes:

S: 23 - 25.5

M: 26 - 27.5

L: 28 - 29.5

XL: 30 - 31.5

I have the 27.5 boot, but I can buy up to the XL tongue. it works pretty darn well, I did it last season and will be doing it again this year for deeper/steeper days.

So the green comes off when you heat up the mold...? Good thing I'm only heating upnmy liners at the most lol. Why are people heating up molds on boots like that is also beyond me...

dragging this thread out of the depths to not make a new one: do these boots have the same liner?

thanks dudes.

i just cant believe they're selling two color schemes of literally the exact same boot.... for $100 difference. I thought the seths looked pretty cool when i saw them at the beginning of the summer, but who in their right mind can spend that much money on a graphics that are covered by pants anyway. but I cant wait to get my booster straps and footbeds for my konflicts! gonna completely fix ma shinbang and pressure points!!

It's actually a $25 difference according to the site.

And last year the Seth was the same at the First Chair. They changed the tongue this season.

i thought last years seth had an active boot board instead of the rigid but i could very most likely be mistaken. and by change the tongue this season, you mean the seths now have an 8 instead of a 10?

Can't recall anything about the foot boards, but this years have the active foot board, can't see why last years wouldn't. The First Chairs have rigid foot boards, I might look into trying some active ones in mine this year.

And yes, the Seth's have an 8 flex instead of the 10. Konflict still has an 8, and First Chair still has a 10.

ya i think they had the active last year, meaning they were not the exact same boot as the first chairs. that was my only point haha

Seth actually skis the next larger size tongue. It's a better height for his leg. If I remember correctly, he wears a 25.5 boot with next tongue (which fits up to a 27.5).
