Im looking at FT's

Going to get hot doggers w/ stiffer tongue if i feel like i need it, or konflicts

The one difference is basically the toe box width and a thing called "J-Bar" which they say holds down the ankle better i guess.

My question is, what actaully is this J-Bar thing? and does it really make that much of a difference? Ill try on both anyway, just want to know what peoples thoughts are.

-Thanks

I believe a J bar is a J shaped piece of foam on the liner. Its above the heel pocket to try and help keep your heel locked down. You can make your own adjustments to any liner to improve the heel hold with a bit of memory foam and experimentation. So don't pay extra just for that feature.

aluminum buckles on the konflicts is a huge plus, i have broken a few plastic ones now. so i swapped them all out for aluminum ones
