Full Tilt Flex Tongue

Does anyone have experience with replacing a full tilt boot tongue? I currently have a 6 tongue which is a 90 flex according to the numbers on the boot. This shit is too damn soft for me now, so I ordered the 8 flex tongue which sucks ass because I would have preferred the 10. Anyways I have no clue how to get the tongue off, there is one youtube video by "shoreline of tahoe" and the mf doesnt even show how he did it.

Yeah you pull the wire frame apart from the toe of tongue, I'll be honest, mine were a bitch to spread on my first chairs but easy on my Twalls.

Yea I have first chairs and they were a pain to get the metal pulled open but you’ll get it just sack up
