Full tilt drop kick (2014) too tight/pain

I bought the full tilt. The length is right, but it is very tight on the side of the foot. It makes me a little sick to the side. it's normal? after some skiing it become soft / enlarges?

Were you fitted for the boots or did you just order them?

the width will get slightly better as the liner beds in but not a lot as it is probably the shell which is too narrow.

But it it may just be your foot collapsing. I'm going to guess you don't have footbeds yet. If not they may help realign your foot effectively making it narrower. You may find footbeds are all you need but if it's still too tight wit the foot secured you could slightly widen the shell. You can't widen that boot a lot just because of how it is made but some small change can be made.

Overall if you got them from a shop take them back and explain the issue. If you got them online, take them to a good shop and get ready to pay.

I have had 3 pairs of full tilts now and every pair about made me cry my feet hurt so bad the first couple days but they formed to my feet and fit like a glove now.

I was always told that footbeds in (older) Fulltilts don't work as well. The Fulltilts don't really have a removable footbed and the liner is supposed to mold making the footbed.

I could totally be wrong however.

It could just be the boot being at a 99mm width. The booters and the descents are all at a 102mm with and make a world of a difference. As well, if you are set on keeping the boots, heat molding them will conform them better to your foot and give you slightly more room every where in the boot.

Yeah you still want footbeds In them. All the liner will do is allow your foot to sink I whatever position it happens to be inside for the boot. For very few people will the foot already be in a neutral position so for most the liner alone will do nothing for surport.

Take ke a look at this article which shows adding footbeds to full tilts.
