Full Tilt Boots Question

Dear fellow NSers,Why do people buy different kinds of Full Tilts? Other than the cosmetic aspect but you can just dye them for cheap anyways right? Is there any actual difference from boot to boot other than the looks and the tongue? Tongues are 50 bucks a piece which makes me wonder why the sethmo and konflict cost significantly more. Are people just idiots or is it me? Doesn't it make sense to just go buy a pair of dropkicks and then take the $100 you just saved (supposing you were going for hotdoggers or sethmos or konflicts originally) and go buy two more sets of tongues with different flexes so that you can always have the right flex for what you're doing? Wouldn't you, in a sense, then have basically three pairs of boots in your quiver? I'm just wondering what other people think about this.

And if I'm just an idiot and I wasted your time at least you got to see this:

yeah but for the price difference it doesn't seem right? You get the same boot plus a couple bells and whistles that don't really matter? Seems somewhat funny to me

each one of them matters besides color

buckles less chance to break there metal

bootboard differs between your riding type (this one doesnt really switch cost

liner less packing of the liner stiffer liner holds mold better

Dudes its like $20 for every buckle u want to change for a metal one: $20 x 6= $120. Plus u get a better liner and different toe box

The fit is exactly the same on all of them(apart from the influence shells) and flex is only influenced by the tongue.

The biggest difference is the liner, The pro is much better, and closer to the true intuition Version. Its firmer, so will pack out over a longer time (relatively, still quickly though) and give a firmer fit. Its well worth the extra money. But better still get the cheap boot, change the tongues and put a intuition or foam injection liner in.

The metal buckles are harder wearing too.

yep, liner, flex and buckles are the 3 main differentiators of basically all ski boots in the world. we run 2 different shells (3 coming this fall) that accomodate narrow or wide feet. thanks for asking!

thanks! i didn't expect to get an answer from the most credible source of them all for this question so it's much appreciated
