Full Tilt Booter Buckle

After a couple days skiing, I realized the middle buckles my new booters are not tight on my ankle even at the tightest setting. I see that you can move the buckle back but A) Would it be worth it to move the screw back, seeing as the strap is still taught, but not tight B) Is there anything I could possibly fuck up in doing this seeing as they are new and I really don't want to break them. Thanks +K for help.

Which year booter?

I'm gonna assume this year booter and say that you can go ahead and tighten the clasp by rotating it

for the buckle itself you can rotate it (screw it in) so that when you attach the cable to the buckle it will be tighter

I have last year's Booters, and yes, they absolutely can rotate to tighten the buckles. You can also move the buckles on the plastic portion to get a tigher/looser fit. I had to move my toe buckle to the outer hole because I had the outside of my boots punched out a bit this year. If your buckles are already on the small setting you probably just bought the wrong size boots.

There should be two holes like that for each buckle Make sure yours are on the tighter hole.

...and yes, I always keep my boots bucked. Just unbuckled them to look at the holes. In case anyone felt like pointing out that my boots were unbuckled.

Also, you don't want your buckles to be super tight. I strap mine down just enough so there's tension when I unbuckle them. It shouldn't be hard to unbuckle your boots.
