Full tilt angle adjustment

I tried looking it up couldn’t find much information on park skiing a lot of articles about racing. But I was wondering if anyone could share what the point of having a more aggressive angle. Does it affect balance, impacts?

Don’t quote me on this, but pretty sure it have to do with adjusting to your body, skiing style and prefference. I tested the spoilers i got with my first full tits and i ended sticking with the medium ones. With the larges ones i was too forward in my boot feeling like i was too far over the tips of my skis and had a hard time feeling controlled on rails. I kept remember not being able to stay centered backswapping. I guess having a too straight angle will do the opposite, and make you stand very sluggish and not have the correct amount of weight on your shins, both making the fit of the boot terrible and looking like a backseat dork going down the slopes.

so in conclusion i would say if you feel like you are too forward or back in your boots you can change the wedge to your liking and riding style. I know racers tend to have a more aggressive angle to fit their aggressive riding style.

hope this helped and that some bootfitter or more knowledgable person can correct me on this.

Everyone’s legs and feet are different. Some need more cant.

The reason to use cuff alignment is to help match the boot to your body. Will this help with balance, maybe yes as you will be better fitted in the boot potentially. The cuff alignment is used to help you achieve a flatter base which may help you generally skiing as well as feeling more solid on rails and allowing you to set spins better. Overall a better fitting boot will always improve skiing. So at least having the cuff alignment checked is a good idea. You may find the boot is already set perfectly for you or you may find it can be improved. Something else to consider is a good footbed in the boot! If you don’t already have good footbeds start there.
