Full Tilt 6 Flex to Full Tilt 10 Flex Question

hey guys , I’m currently looking into buying some new full tilts, as my 2015 dropkicks are coming to the end of their days. I’m mainly looking into the First Chair 10s (as I know how comfortable my foot is in full tilts 99mm wide shell, so don’t come at me saying try them on in person :)... because Ik they fit me like a glove with my previous 2 pairs of full tilts in that shell.).... I only weigh about 135 but I feel like the 6 flex tongue on my dropkicks were pretty soft . Do you think I should have problems moving to the 10 flex boot since I mainly ski park ? Just lookin for opinions.... + points if you ride a 10 flex boot in park and you let me know how you like them .

I ski both a 6 and 10 flex and I think you'll be fine with the 10 all around. It makes a huge difference in all mountain performance to have a stiffer tongue and doesn't sacrifice park performance, at least with how I ski.

You could always put your Drop Kick tongue on your First Chairs if you don't like the stiffer flex.

Yah that’s exactly what I was thinking I could do if the 10 ended up being to stiff. Maybe I’ll pull the trigger then

I weight 175-180ish depending on the day and I ride #10s (Seth Morrison's). I was thinking about going lower but I tried some #6s on in the store and I hardly noticed a difference. I don't find the #10s that stiff even. Obviously you weigh a lot less so I would try to get a lower number tongue but I don't think it's that necessary. Keep in mind I've been riding these boots for about half a season and someone rode in them for a day or two before selling them to me (I couldn't even tell though, the pro liner wasn't even molded to their feet yet).

Iv got an 8 flex tongue in and they’re mint- I wouldn’t mind trying stiffer just to see what it’s like as I havnt ridden a 10.
