Haha i love it, skifreeMT and bridgerbowl are dominating SG with ignorance lately. This is hilarious, you guys haven't made one intelligent post. Of course racing is skiing, it's no worse than park ratting (actually, it's probably better). Most of the racers out there are probably better skiiers than you.

us freesking champ last year, jhony law races. jon olson still hits up a fis race from time to time, doing jumps is only one side of skiing, and i can take out half my buddies who have been freesking thier entire lives. so I think it's a shitty attitude to have towards racing, when in actuality its a worthy pastime that requires alot of commitment and dedication, guaranteed it's easier to spin a smooth 5 than to tear up a slalom course.

besides jds right, it does make u a much better skier, but if all u do is race i really do think thats worse than a park rat, its not real skiing when all u do is practice racing

I raced, and I loved it. Don't bash something if you've never tried it. It made me a better skier, I can carve turns like a bitch now (which is a lot more fun than most park rats think it is), and I'd be willing to bet that I can still ski circles around you in the park. Enough said.
