OKay so i live in Ontario, skiing just started up on thursday at horseshoevalley, nothin but 2 runs open but still sick cause it was skiing for the first time. I went on friday and saturday. And then BOOM i was just buttering around and FUCK my binding released. not a big deal right, just click in and go skiing? WRONG! my heal piece started pulling out. FUCK so i skied a couple of runs then we left and i looked at my binding and realized i was fucked. SO i took my skis to the local shop and then put in a heli coil and i was set. Skiing on sunday was fun and had no problems.

Then Today i went again in the afternoon. 1 box was open and i hit it a bunch of times fun shit. On the way to rail goin down the run there are some gnolls to jump off of and butter and stuff. Fun shit! then on the sickest shifty 180 i have ever laid down on such a gnol.... BAM binding release! FUCK! i find my brakes (which i just purchased a new pair of brakes before the season cause i broke my last ones) on the snow. Wutever just click in and keep going right? Again WRONG! sooo as i'm skiing down the rest of the run my heel is loose and practically releasing and half way coming out. SHIT! so i stop and move my boot around as if i had the loosest pivots on in my life. MY binding was cracked in the heal starting

That is gay. I am sorry that had to happen to you. At least you are skiing. I only have manmade at resorts 3 hours away from here. Gay.

my looks are still working and they got ran over by a car. The brake's broken on one of the bindings cause of that little incident but they still work.

ya i guess i didn't quite finish but straight from the base where the heel is attached is cracking all the way till the part where u can slide the heal piece out

FKS are solid

I havent had any issues like that, tjhough. Sounds like they were probably bad before the first mount... maybe.

binding ripping out of ski is the skis fault not the binding. and how old are they? sounds like there is not enough forward pressure.

i would try and get it replaced for free man...

last year, i got marker bindings. i hated them- heres why...

i started throwing down bigger tricks last year, and almost every tiem my ski would come off. i had the dins at 14 and they still did. my brakes would rip off when my ski came off going switch, and this happened at least 5 times on one ski, and 3 on the other. turns out that both the bindings were defective and were releasing like they were a much lower din.

they gave me new bindings and fucked up mounting them, so the new bindings ripped out of the old hole they drilled when i just was skiing around on them. they had to remount them an inch up but they have been good since then.
