I have been waiting for weeks to get thier pipe open. well they are opening this weekend but wait! they are closing it for the us snowboard team gets to use!

and copper has 5 other trails CLOSED for racers. its bullshit

Are they going to have freeride skiing in the pipe in the upcoming olympics? They better! I was laughing my as off when I heard that half pipe was going to be an Olympic sport! cheeeeezzze!

So If snowboardes can have pipe for the Olympics so should skiers!
 
haha i know a snowboard girl thats going this weekend to ride the pipe, i forgot shes on the us snowboard team, ha that bitch is soo lucky
 
Tell you what, these people have earned the right to use “your” halfpipe on “your” mountain. Without the support and recognition gained from organizations like our national snowboard team, mountains like Cooper would not have early season halfpipes at all. These teams pay for the use of these features and the associated snowmaking, grooming expenses. What you don’t know about is contractual deals made by these organizations years in advance, and your perceived privilege and entitlement does not hold any bearing or weight in this matter. Before mouthing off to “your” mountain, or bitching about something out of your control, you should remember that this team paid for this halfpipe and in a few weeks their good deeds will reap rewards for general public…so hang in there and don’t sweat the small stuff, it will only give you gas
 
it still sucks that the pipe is up, but they can't use it. i totally understand what you're saying, though.
 
Yeah man...they are only going to be representing our country in the Olympics in two months. They should totally have to wait their turn.
