Fuck the Connecticut DMV

oh yea, it's great to see a return on your money. but do you know how much flaggers get paid? yes, there are services that we need, but the systems have become so over-inflated we are getting screwed.

As far as people sitting on their asses I assume u mean people on welfare, I'm with you on that one too. BUT I would rather people be forced to either "work" or "crime" by hunger through the removal of welfare, and those who arn't willing to contribute to society can spend their days in jail once they commit crimes to feed themselves.

NH is 15 1/2 (no written permit needed) and then 4 weeks of drivers ED and then a super easy DMV test

 
yes lil joey! if they don't want to work I'd sooner pay their incarceration than cable bill! no one will be rounded up and just thrown in jail, you would have to commit a crime. Are you suggesting we don't prosecute criminals? And guess what... while they're in jail they wouldn't be reproducing little fucks to be a future drain on the system. I'm also in favor of early release for work programs, offset the cost onto the inmates themselves.

 
The amount a flagger gets paid has nothing to do with the government, it's all union negotiated wages, and almost everyone working on road projects is a contractor except pothole patrol, everyday maintenance (grading, plowing) and a few paving projects maybe. The only gov't employee on the project is an inspector and sometimes the surveyors. So, what really "wastes money" is the unions that the private sector workers work for. That being said, I can see why highway workers get paid so much.

Having worked on the roads for 3 months now, I've realized that at least 50% of drivers are mentally retarded. I've almost gotten killed no less than 3 times in that short amount of time by people speeding/not using common sense or following traffic control.
 
CT DMV sucks ass. good thing i got my license right before this all went down. but at least you dont have to take the written part
 
when i see how little time it takes to get a license, it makes me realize why so many people out there are absolutely terrible drivers.

You want to see the pinnacle of terrible driving, go hang around a high school at the end of the day.

And deny it all you want, but it's true. I won't lie, i thought i was the man when it came to driving when i was in high school. Guarantee that when you get older you'll realize how stupid you really were.
 
Not to sound like a dick but I have no sympathy for anyone in this situation. This is a shitty situation but there are so many bigger problems in the world right now. Have you watched the news, there is no way around cuts in government spending, especially with the selfish tbaggers in office. Besides,16yr olds are dangerous behind the wheel. At that age skill, maturity, self control, decision making...something will break down and get you into at least a little trouble.
 
Remember there's other services that are effected too other than licenses. Also some people older than 16 could be trying to get a license too

DMV sucks i had to get an ID for football we got there at 6 (30 minutes before they open) and the line was already around the building So i was like
