Only suggestion I have, is to find a hobby that you can be passionate about during the other 3 seasons.
for me, mountain biking has done the trick. I used to hate spring, summer and fall. Mountain biking has made me appreciate every season so much more. Come March, I start getting the singletrack bug and come October, I start dreaming of powder days.

dude go longboard. like seriously its so much fun and a lot of it doesnt take much skill. i skate too but its so much work sometimes. longboard is jus chill and mad fun. plus kids call u a bro and it feels good

Also, I think I like summer more than winter. Don't get me wrong, when fall comes around I'm dying to ski, and love skiing, but I live in Michigan, so I don't get to ski that often and the conditions suck. In summer, I get to spend every day on the lake, wakeboarding, riding my bike, hanging out with friends I didn't get to see during the school year, and drinking. It's also acceptable to wear board shorts as clothing all day. Oh, and bonfires. Yeah, summer is awesome.

That's pretty much all I have, I work like 1-9, 5 days a week, it's hard to find time for anything but a couple laps on the hill next to my house before I leave, and ten like chillin with friends after work, other than that and days off it sucks

Nope, I haven't had a job for a few years. I figure I have plenty of time to make money when I'm older, and my parents believe that education is the most important thing in life, so they pay for school. I have lots of money saved up from previous jobs and gifts and whatnot, so if I need something I just dig into that, but I don't ever really buy stuff. My biggest purchase in the last year was a new back wheel for my bike, a new hub guard, and new brake pads, and that was only like $300.

I invite you to move to the PNW, but not Oregon since they kind of do go by the seasons a bit more than say Washington or British Columbia. The sun is occasional and you'll enjoy it more, but then again you have to listen to everyone bitch about how it's summer and suppose to be sunny. I say to them fuck it, deal with the weather and embrace it!

Agree on all counts except I love being out of school, and I wear jeans even when its over 100 degrees. In fact I'm wearing jeans right now and its probably 100 degrees outside.
Only cool things about summer are not being in school, bikinis/short skirts, and cliff jumping.

Me too I just DGAF because summer in LA is like 100F+ almost every day so you are just going to end up drenched in sweat regardless of what you do.

and... biking is super fun. get a cheap single gear bike and bike around. i got one for 6 dollars....
6 dollars well spent. and to the salvation army, so its good both ways.
a better bike will do. But having a 6 dollar bike just makes it more fun.
oh yeah, and you can go to camp for 2 weeks or a month, thats how im spending a month.
